A minor change. Would it be possible to make the minimal value for the Y axis on the elevation profile chart to 100m? Currently some flat walks look really hilly to those who don't read the graph correctly. Example below varies between 0 and 10m. If the scale was a minimum 100m the walk would appear flat (as it should). Thank you1 vote
Yes, this has been bothering me too. On the todo list.
It would be great if the person who submits the photo had the ability to delete it and alter the attached caption. At the moment if a user submits the wrong photo they must contact you so it can be removed. Sometimes I look at the caption of my photos and want to change it (if it's a plant, animal I like to include the latin name I sometimes discover this after I have uploaded).
Users shouldn't be able to delete/alter someone elses' photos.3 votes
Good idea. Would have come in handy for some recent support requests as well.
At the moment when you click a thumbnail on the home page (news feed) it will show you the image but there is no 'nice' way to return to the previous page (you have to click the back button).
In a walk pages you are presented with a photo gallery control, the front page should also present the gallery.0 votes
Can do. Will probably make them use the lightbox when viewing on a pc same as on the walk pages.
It would be great if users were able to upload multiple photo's at a time, currently i'm only able to upload one at a time. other that that the sites great! Ta3 votes
Thanks. Definitely on the todo list. Please vote this up if it’s important to you.
For example on 31st January I went to walk Tibrogargan but found it closed due to a recent bushfire. I have changed the walk description to include this info but a page dedicated to this would be easier to update and peruse prior to heading out.3 votes
Good idea. I’ve been thinking about something like this for awhile, but just want to make sure I can find a way of easily keeping it up to date.
I'm having trouble entering walks as the map doesn't seem to load so that I can pinpoint the walk. Could you perhaps give clearer instructions on how to do this?1 vote
Something similar to leaving comments after the walk but a box to ask a question about the walk before going on it. With the ability for someone else to leave an answer there.1 vote
When on a specific walks page there could be a section for nearby walks.3 votes
On the plan. I have some ideas to improve the data quality which should hopefully include capturing which walks leave from the same place so that will help this out as well.
Simple driving directions on the map to at least estimate the travel time to the start of the walk3 votes
- Don't see your idea?
