Categorisation Tags
It would be nice if there was a way to add 'tags' to a walk for the use of searching. For example just say if a user would like to do a walk that contains a waterfall but does not know a walk that has this.
Examples of tags could be: waterfall, coastal, scenic lookout, wheelchair, swimming hole, rainforest, you could add more later. These tags would be selectable on the advanced search screen.
Not sure why I missed marking this off. Tags completed a while ago.

I'm almost ready to launch the tags. I'm collecting suggestions for tags over on the forum: https://talk.aussiebushwalking.com/t/what-am-i-working-on/36/16

So I'm blaming you Rob for delaying the tags now :) I pretty much had adding them done (but not searching) but now I like your idea and need to update them to support that. It does complicate things a bit as search will also need to handle the tri-state (Find me walks which definitely don't have toilets!)

I've had more of a think about this one. I believe it would be best to have a tri-state tag system (not provided, true or false). Let's use the tag "toilet" for example, if the walk has an accessible toilet then users will obviously give the toilet tag however if the walk doesn't have a toilet the user won't add the tag (as the tag is not added other users may think the walk may have a toilet it just hasn't been added). There's also the option of adding an additional "no toilet" tag but this method would effectively double the number of tags also making it harder to manage.
Using the (tri-state) system below would allow users to easily know what features a walk has. When adding tags the editor will have an option for each keyword: Toilet - Yes | No | Unspecified
Let me know what you think
